Teatro del Silenzio: “Dinner for ABF”

An alfresco Gala Dinner at Andrea Bocelli’s home, at the Poggioncino Estate in Lajatico. This is the classic post-concert event that will top off the Teatro del Silenzio once again this year.

Thursday, July 25, for the 14th edition of the concert and event “Ali di libertà” (“Wings of Freedom”), the Foundation is organizing a promotional and fundraising campaign to support ABF’s projects in Italy and abroad.

In addition to presenting its activities and initiatives to guests, the Foundation is also organizing a “Dinner for ABF” at the founder’s country home. This is an unmissable and memorable chance to experience, alongside the Bocelli family, the places where the artist grew up and where he returns to as soon as he can, to regain peace and rediscover nature and his beloved horses.

This dinner is an opportunity to support ABF’s educational projects in particular. These include those within Italy, where – in the area hit by the earthquake in 2016 – the first school in Sarnano was opened last May (built in the record time of 150 days) and where another one is under construction, in Muccia, where it will be donated as a “turnkey” project to the students and local administration of the pre-school and elementary school, in an area where over 90% of the buildings are still unfit for use. There are also projects in Haiti, where (in collaboration with our local partner Fondation St. Luc) five schools have been built in recent years, which are maintained everyday. A total of around 3,000 students can look to their futures with hope thanks to ABF (and thus thanks to all of you who support us).

July 25… Save the Date!
