The context: the need and the challenge
The experimental ABF Music Curriculum A-R Project was created to renew education for children aged 3 to 14 by placing music and musical expression at the heart of everyday school life. It develops the tools, methods and strategies needed to use music as a cross-curricular language that enriches learning.
ABF’s response
ABF coordinates an action-research programme for teachers, supporting them as they test new approaches in the classroom and providing practical tools and strategies for innovative teaching. Delivered in partnership with the G. Leopardi Comprehensive School in Sarnano, the project positions the school as a centre for educational innovation.
