CELEBRITY FIGHT NIGHT: THE SECOND ITALIAN EDITION HAS COLLECTED 13 MILLION EUROS

More than doubled the figures of last year

The Andrea Bocelli Foundation and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center will be the beneficiaries of the event

Great success for the second edition of Celebrity Fight Night in Italy which, thanks to Andrea Bocelli and his wife Veronica, this year, has collected more than 13 million Euros, doubling the amount of last year. The event has brought to Italy over a hundred millionaires, from all over the world, involving them in a charity trip of five days between Tuscany and Rome.

The sum collected will be given, net of expenses,  for two thirds to Andrea Bocelli Foundation and for one third to the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.

The Andrea Bocelli Foundation, born in 2011, this year, thanks to the second edition of the event, will build two more schools in two remote communities of the island of Haiti, where no education is provided, and will also have the possibility to continue its intervention in the other three communities ensuring education, food, and health care, to a small army of 2,550 children.

The Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center has used the funds of 2014 and will use the ones of this event to provide practical help to people with Parkinson’s disease, and to their families who cannot afford medicines and treatments.

ABF would like to extend particular thanks to the Haitian delegation of ABF’s partner in Haiti, Fondation St Luc: Roseline Paul, Dr. Gerald Beaubrun and Dr. Marcedson Augustin, who brought to the event their great experience and a full testimony of they are doing together with ABF, helping over 1,750 children in 3 communities in Haiti.
