Music is the voice of the soul, its strength and beauty cam open minds and arouse a deep thinking ability. Art and culture are an integral part of human rights.

With this conviction and in the respect of these principles, Andrea Bocelli Foundation with its local partner in Haiti Fondation Saint Luc conceived the ’Voices of Haiti” Project. The choir is composed of 60 Haitian children aged between 9 and 15 years coming from the most vulnerable areas of Port au Prince who, thanks to music have the chance to get away from violence and poverty by working hard on their own potential. And two years after its creation, the “Voices of Haiti” choir takes part to the new musical project of Maestro Andrea Bocelli. In fact, in the new CD of unpublished songs, out next 26 October, the voices and the “colors” of the 60 members of the choir will be featuring in 2 tracks of the album Dormi Dormi and Gloria.

This opportunity is the reflection of the strong desire of Master Bocelli and of the Foundation to bring attention to the conditions of a country battered by poverty and important natural events through the beauty and purity of the voices of these 60 choristers who represent the future of their Country, and that with their talent they instill hope and beauty.
