Testimonial by Nicla Mannucci

The first time that I came to ABF, a year ago, I was struck by the enthusiasm of the people who were working there and by the smiles on everyone’s faces in the photos hung on the wall: of the children and famous people photographed together with Maestro Andrea Bocelli.

Through my volunteering at ABF, I came to know about the Haitian children who sing with the Maestro and who speak about the conditions that they live in on trips. I learned that in Haiti schools had been built and that trucks carrying the ABF logo distribute clean water.

Last May, it was extremely moving for me to be able to witness the inauguration of the school in Sarnano, which was rebuilt after the earthquake, thanks to the contributions of ABF, and now I am seeing another school being brought back to life in Muccia.

Many projects are created, many are renewed and there is a lot of commitment and self-sacrifice from everyone, and again – lots of smiles!
